Add the connector

Open Connectors

In Settings, Connectors, enable developer mode if needed, then add a custom connector.

Enter the server

Name it ContentHero and set the MCP server URL:
https://mcp.contenthero.ai

Authorize

ChatGPT runs the OAuth flow. Sign in with your ContentHero account and approve. No API key needed.

Verify

In a chat with the connector enabled, ask ChatGPT to read your ContentHero balance. It calls get_balance and returns your credits.
Custom MCP connectors in ChatGPT require a plan that supports developer mode or custom connectors. If you do not see the option, check your plan and workspace settings.
